OrisunSites is a website, hosting and online-store service operated by ORISUN Systems and Technologies ("ORISUN", "we", "us"), a Nigerian software engineering company. By subscribing to any OrisunSites plan you enter a binding agreement with ORISUN under these Terms.

OrisunSites designs, builds, hosts and maintains websites for businesses, public figures and online sellers. Depending on your chosen plan we provide: an AI-crafted mobile-first website, your chosen domain name, secure hosting, SSL certificate, email forwarding, a content dashboard for posting news and updates, and (on the Online Store plan) product pages with online payment collection and a seller wallet.

Your site is delivered to you live on the internet. We build from the information you provide during onboarding; you are responsible for the accuracy of that information.

Free trial first. Before you pay for any plan you may start one 14-day free trial. The trial is free, needs no card, and nothing is charged during it or automatically when it ends. A trial site is live on a free name.orisun.site address (never a custom domain), with up to five pages, one AI design pass and three content edits, 500 MB of media and 5 GB of monthly traffic, with no online store and no business mailbox, a small "Free trial" badge, and no search-engine indexing until you subscribe. We email you 7, 3 and 1 days before a trial ends; when it ends without a plan, the published pages are replaced by a trial-ended page and your content is kept, not deleted. Paying republishes the same site on the address you chose. One trial is allowed per business, identified by phone number, email address and business name.

Plans are billed quarterly (3 months), biannually (6 months) or yearly (12 months) as displayed on orisun.site — there are no monthly plans. Current rates: Starter ₦12,000/quarter (₦20,000/6 months, ₦40,000/year), Business & Public Figure ₦22,500/quarter (₦37,500/6 months, ₦75,000/year), Online Store ₦30,000/quarter (₦50,000/6 months, ₦100,000/year). Biannual billing equals five months (one month free); yearly billing equals ten months (two months free). Extra business mailboxes beyond the one included cost ₦1,500 each per year.

Standard and Online Store plans include a FREE .com.ng domain — registered in your name, plus one professional mailbox on that domain (e.g. info@yourbusiness.com.ng). Renewal of the included domain is covered by us for as long as your subscription remains active and paid. The Starter plan includes a free name.orisun.site subdomain instead and does not include a mailbox.

Customers may register any other extension available on our registrar (.org.ng, .net.ng, .ng, .com, .me etc.) as an optional paid add-on charged on top of the plan price (e.g. bare .ng ₦15,000 for the first year; renewal of add-on domains is covered while the subscription remains active).

Fees include your website design and build, hosting, SSL, the included domain (where applicable) and standard support for the billing period.

You authorise us to charge your saved payment card automatically at each renewal. We email you 7 days and 1 day before every automatic renewal charge, so you can cancel before it. If a renewal charge fails we retry once a day for that period and there is a 3-day grace period, counted from the expiry date, in which to update the card; a failed renewal pauses the business mailbox rather than taking your website down. How to cancel, what is refundable and how long a refund takes are set out in our Refunds & Cancellation Policy at orisun.site/refund, which forms part of these Terms.

The domain registered for your site (a free .com.ng on Standard and Store, or any paid add-on extension you choose) is registered in your name for your benefit, through ORISUN's accredited registrar account (Truehost). It remains managed within the OrisunSites platform so that registration, renewal, DNS, email and security are handled reliably for you.

The included domain is a feature of your active subscription: while your plan is paid, we register and renew it for you at no extra charge. If your subscription is cancelled or lapses, the domain and hosting are not separately transferable to you — the website, its domain and its hosting are provided as one integrated OrisunSites service, not as components you can move to another provider.

Hosting is likewise included and non-portable: your site runs on ORISUN's infrastructure, and plan fees do not purchase a hosting account, server, cPanel or files that can be migrated to a third-party host. You do not need one — hosting, SSL, backups and maintenance are part of the service.

Because the included domain and hosting are delivered as part of your subscription rather than sold to you as standalone products, they are not migratable to another registrar or hosting provider. Domain registrations carry no separate transfer (EPP) entitlement while managed under this service. We will never allow a domain we manage for you to lapse without prior notice and an opportunity to renew.

Content you provide remains yours. If you leave OrisunSites, you may export your content (text, images, product data) on request while your account is in good standing; the domain name and hosting configuration stay with the platform.

You are solely responsible for all content you supply or publish: text, images, products and news. You confirm you own or are licensed to use everything you provide.

You may not use the service for unlawful activity, scams, phishing, impersonation, fraudulent goods, hate speech, or content that infringes Nigerian law or third-party rights. We may suspend or remove any site that we reasonably determine violates this clause, and (where required) we will report suspected fraud or criminal activity to the authorities.

Public figures and political users remain responsible for compliance with all applicable electoral and defamation laws.

The Online Store plan allows you to sell products and collect payment online from buyers. Payments are processed by Paystack (or a successor payment processor), a licensed payment provider. Buyer payment data is handled by the processor; we do not store card details.

A 2% platform fee applies to each completed sale and is added transparently at the buyer's checkout. Payment gateway processing fees are likewise passed to the buyer at checkout, so your listed product price is what you receive on settlement (less only the 2% platform fee where it is charged to you — see the checkout breakdown).

You choose how sale proceeds settle: instantly to your verified bank account (a small per-payout fee applies) or batched together on the next business day. Bank details are verified with our payment processor before any payout, and a 2% platform fee applies per completed sale as shown at the buyer's checkout. You are responsible for fulfilling orders, honouring your product descriptions and handling buyer disputes for your own products. Where we become aware of fraudulent orders, we may reverse settlement to protect the integrity of the platform.

Because a domain registration and the initial AI build are performed immediately upon your order, the payment for the current period is not refundable once building has commenced (usually within 24 hours of payment). If you cancel before we begin building, we refund that payment in full. Where a domain has already been registered in your name, the registrar's registration fee is spent and cannot be recovered by us or by you, so that amount is excluded from any refund.

No payment is taken for the 14-day free trial, so there is nothing to refund when a trial ends — it simply ends, and your content and your chosen address are kept.

After the build is delivered you may cancel at any renewal point. Cancellation stops the next renewal charge and your site stays live and editable until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancelling does not take the site down on the day you ask, and it carries no cancellation fee and no notice period.

Cancelling or lapsing does not delete your work: we hold your content for at least 90 days, during which renewing republishes the same site at the same address. After that window we may release the address and archived content may be deleted.

We target high availability for all hosted sites and provide monitoring. Occasionally, maintenance or circumstances beyond our control may cause downtime; we will restore service as quickly as possible.

Plans are intended for standard business, profile and store traffic. Sites that generate extreme traffic or resource use beyond the plan's fair-use envelope may be rate-limited or asked to upgrade, to protect other customers on the shared hosting platform.

The OrisunSites platform, design systems, templates, code frameworks and AI tooling are the intellectual property of ORISUN. Your subscription grants you a licence to use the website we build for you for your business purposes; it does not transfer ownership of our underlying tools or systems.

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, ORISUN is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, loss of profits, or loss of data arising from use of the service, nor for losses caused by events beyond our reasonable control, third-party processors, or the actions of your own customers.

Our total liability in connection with the service in any billing period is limited to the fees you paid us in that period.

We process personal data — yours, and your site visitors' where applicable — in line with the Nigerian Data Protection Act/NDPR and our Privacy Policy. We collect only what is needed to deliver the service: identity, contact, billing, and content you provide. We never sell personal data.

Contact-form submissions to your site are delivered to you and handled under your own privacy responsibilities as the site owner.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be emailed to you at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Disputes will first be referred to good-faith negotiation; failing resolution, to mediation in Lagos, and thereafter to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Nigeria.
